Founder and Artistic Director, Yanna Llorente Ruiz, has earned a well-deserved reputation for developing talented young dancers through comprehensive and rigorous training designed to teach and train young dancers the techniques and discipline necessary to perfect and polish their natural talents. The Artistic Director has served as a dance teacher and ballet mistress during the last seven years, providing young ballet dancers with the skills and techniques necessary to further develop their dance careers and studies. She has served as a ballet teacher in both the Tampa and Brandon area, and seeks to compliment the developing Valrico community with an outstanding ballet program and school. The Artistic Director will serve as the primary ballet mistress, instructor of ballet.
Yanna Llorente Ruiz began her ballet training in Habana, Cuba and was later accepted into the Cuban National Ballet School, Escuela Nacional de Ballet Alejo Carpentier, studying under Sylvia Rodriguez and Fernando Alonso. After having emigrated from Cuba, she continued her ballet studies in Tampa and St. Petersburg, Florida, studying under the direction of Elsa Pardo, Albena Arnaudova, and Suzanne Pomerantzeff among many others.

Her repertoire includes Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Coppelia, Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, Les Sylphides, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Giselle, The Toy Shoppe, and other works from celebrated choreographers such as Petipa, Fokine, Balanchine, Alvin Ailey, and Judith Jamison.

She has a Master Certification in Fine Arts, and is a part of the National Honor Society of Dance.
