My daughter has been a ballet student of Yanna for three years. During her time at Florida Prep Ballet School, I have seen her ballet skills greatly improve. Although she has been a ballet student for many, many years, it is only now with Florida Prep that her confidence in herself has blossomed and this has allowed her to perform at a higher skill level. I am so thankful that Florida Prep Ballet School is here in Valrico. My daughter has been to several other dance schools in the Tampa Bay area and none have taken as much care and time to ensure that my daughter learns the fundamentals of ballet. So much so that in less than three weeks my daughter went from knowing very little of ballet to reciting and performing all of the turns and stances taught to her. She has gained so much confidence and courage that she wakes up every morning to practice what she's learned the previous day. We've been to five different ballet schools in four different states. Florida Prep Ballet is by far the best ballet school we have come across. Mrs. Yanna helps the girls achieve discipline and excellence in dance in a loving environment. My girls have learned so much. As our first experience with dance/ballet, I must say I am very impressed with Mrs. Yanna and Florida Prep Ballet School. Mrs. Yanna is very knowledgeable and really takes the time to work with the girls to give them the confidence to do their very best.
